August 13 was certainly a lucky number for Noble Bob Haber who is the
first Shriner this year to record a hole in one. Bob used
a pitching wedge to ace the 4th hole and was able to see the ball hit within
a foot of the hole and then spin in. Love those Titelist Pro v's !!
A week later Noble Bert Carlson whacked a three wood onto the same green
with the same satisfying results. This was Bert's third ace of his lengthy
career. Just goes to show that the longer you play, the better you get. And
to think most people feel Viagra makes you better.
Not to be outdone,Noble Glen Fansler, allegedly scored an ace on the 10th hole
at the Indian Creek Course in Hood River, Oregon the following week. We feel
he is truthful about this since he showed his bar bill following the spectacular
125 yard shot. This was Glen's second ace of his illustrious career.
